I’m Sophie, a qualified primary school teacher (QTS) with over 13 years’ classroom experience, offering personalised online tutoring for home educated children aged 5-11.
My particular specialism is phonics and early reading, alongside general English, maths, and creative learning (I also hold a Fine Art degree, which shapes how I bring creativity into sessions).
My preference is always one-to-one, real relationship-building, not rushing through content, though small group sessions are also available. Sessions are built entirely around your child, with no fixed curriculum required, which I know matters a lot for home educating families specifically.

£40/hour for regular sessions, or £25 for a 30-minute phonics assessment, a good low-pressure starting point if you’re not sure where your child’s at.
