Pip 11+ Practice is a free, ad-free learning app for children aged 7 to 11, covering maths, English (grammar, spelling, vocabulary and comprehension), verbal reasoning and non-verbal reasoning. It works on iOS, Android and the web.
What makes Pip different is adaptive learning. No child is locked into their age or school year: when you start the app you choose Year 4, 5 or 6 as a starting point, and Pip then follows your child’s real level, getting harder where they are strong and giving more support where they need it. That makes it ideal for home-educated children, who are often ahead in one subject and still building in another.
Short illustrated lessons teach the method first, so children can learn and practise independently, and a friendly character coaches without giving the answer away. Parents can choose the 11+, KS2 SATs or both, and each has its own dedicated practice. Timed mock papers are available with Pip Pro.
Pip was built by a home-educating mum for her own child, and since launching in mid-June 2026 it has reached more than 1,000 users.
