A 12-week online course exploring Emily Brontë’s Wuthering Heights in depth.
Led by Dr Simon Gregor, the course takes a slow read of the novel over the term, giving learners time to properly get to know the story, its characters and some of the ideas running through it.
Wuthering Heights is often remembered as a great love story, but there is a lot more going on. The course will look at themes including class, cruelty, obsession, revenge and abuse, as well as the way the novel has been interpreted and adapted since it was first published in 1847.
There are 12 live sessions in total, each lasting 90 minutes.
