Hello, I’m Lola. I’m a HCPC-registered Art Psychotherapist and neurodivergent practitioner offering gentle, creative and neurodivergent-affirming therapy for children, young people and parents/carers within home-educating families.
Art therapy offers a space to explore thoughts, feelings and experiences without relying solely on talking. Sessions can involve art-making, movement, sensory exploration, play, reflection, or simply having a quiet and supportive space to be yourself. There is no expectation to communicate or engage in a particular way.
I have a particular interest in supporting neurodivergent children and young people, including those who are autistic, ADHD, AuDHD, or exploring their neurodivergence in their own way. I also support people experiencing anxiety, overwhelm, burnout, emotional difficulties, identity changes, chronic illness, disability, or who may have felt misunderstood in more traditional support settings.
For home-educated children, therapy can offer a dedicated space outside of the home-learning environment to explore emotions, build self-understanding and develop ways of expressing themselves that feel natural and meaningful to them. My approach is flexible and responsive to each individual, their interests, communication style, sensory needs and pace.
I also offer individual therapy for parents and carers. This can provide a space to pause, reflect and receive support with the emotional demands of caring and home educating, while having somewhere to explore your own experiences, needs and wellbeing.
My aim is to create a space where you do not need to mask, perform or explain yourself, but can simply arrive as you are and be met with curiosity, acceptance and respect.
Sessions are available online (£60 for 50 minutes), with therapy also available in French and Italian. A free 20-minute introductory call is available for parents/carers to ask questions and see whether the service feels like a good fit.
In-person sessions or home visits may sometimes be possible in South West London, depending on location and accessibility needs.
If you’d like to ask any questions or find out more, you’re very welcome to get in touch. I usually reply within two working days.
