MoneyTime is an online financial literacy program for ages 10-15 that makes learning about money fun, practical & interactive. With 30+ self-taught modules, it simplifies complex concepts & guides kids through the full spectrum of personal finance. The curriculum starts with the basics of earning, saving & budgeting then builds into advanced topics like career choices, peer pressure, smart spending, borrowing, taxes, banking, property, investing etc.💡
MoneyTime is currently used by 130,000+ students across Australia, the USA, the UK, New Zealand & South Africa. Recognized internationally, the program also recently won Best Primary Product at the recent Global EdTech Awards 2025.🏅
The curriculum takes care of both the “what” & “how” of teaching kids about money. A key feature is the built-in money management game. Kids solve problems through the modules, earn virtual money for correct answers & then decide whether to use these rewards to spend on their avatar, save, donate, or make investments in the program, allowing them to try strategies they’ve learned in a safe, simulated environment. This hands-on approach builds their confidence in making their own financial decisions in future.
Children learn independently as the program is self-taught, taking pressure off parents to be financial experts. However parents can choose to be involved if they like. Firstly, through 13 optional parent-child modules designed to be completed together. These modules reinforce learning & encourage meaningful family discussions about money.
Secondly, for those who want to be more hands-on, every module comes with a parent PDF guide packed with learning objectives, key terms, exercises, discussion prompts & family activity ideas for meaningful discussion. 👩👩👧
