We’re back this Autumn with a refreshed programme for home-educated children!
At The Smiley Art Club, we believe art is for everyone and our new sessions are designed to welcome a wide age range (5–12 years) while giving each child space to explore at their own level.

How the Sessions Work
Each week, we create a welcoming environment where children can move between different creative “stations,” allowing them to explore, play, and learn at their own pace:
Sensory + Playful Station (ages ~5–7): Hands-on activities such as clay play, texture rubbings, and playful printing for younger children to explore freely.
Creative Making (ages ~7–9): Guided projects like collage, simple printmaking, or story illustrations that balance fun with skill-building.
Art Projects & Techniques (ages ~9–12): More advanced activities such as lino cutting, painting, zine-making, or sculpture — giving older children the chance to develop their creativity further.
Alongside these, we also work on group projects that grow week by week.
Our sessions aren’t just one-off workshops – they’re designed as a space where children can return, build on what they’ve done before, and feel part of a creative community. Everyone leaves with something unique, and together we create something bigger than ourselves.
