Online Art Lessons for Home-Educated Children (Ages 11–14)
Does your child enjoy art but often feel stuck, unsure what to draw, or lacking confidence?
I support home-educating families by providing structured, step-by-step art lessons that build real skills — without pressure, comparison, or you needing to plan anything yourself.
I’m Jo, a PGCE-qualified UK art teacher, and I created Arts Instruct to help children move from “I can’t draw” to creating artwork they feel genuinely proud of.
Each project is carefully designed around key artistic principles such as colour, tone, composition and technique, helping children understand how to create, not just what to make.
🎨 What makes Arts Instruct different?
✔️ Clear structure without school-style pressure
✔️ Builds confidence, even for reluctant or perfectionist learners
✔️ Encourages independence and idea development
✔️ Uses simple, low-cost materials you likely already have
✔️ Supports progression towards KS3 and GCSE skills
💬 A common worry I hear from parents: “I want to support my child’s creativity… but I don’t know if I’m doing it right.”
That’s exactly where Arts Instruct helps.
