After studying A Level Economics, French and Physics at a grammar sixth form, I obtained grade B in all three subjects. I took a year out before going to university in which I taught myself A Level Biology and Chemistry and obtained a grade A and B respectively. I graduated from Queen Mary University of London with a BSc (with Honours) Biomedical Sciences. I am currently a trainee teacher at the University of Oxford. I will first make sure that the pupil understands the content. I will then work through a problem with them so that they can acquire the skills needed to effectively answer the questions. Then I will give the pupil some more questions for them to attempt independently (and I will help them if need be). After checking their answers, and once I believe the pupil is confident with the topic, I will move on to the next topic.
