Wild Arts is a creative forest school based in the heart of the South Downs, set across 26 acres of fields and woodland, alongside a cosy atelier filled with beautiful, natural craft materials.
Inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, children are offered thoughtful creative provocations and the freedom to explore them in their own ways. Through seasonal crafting, shared projects, and time spent outdoors, children connect with nature, with one another, and with the cycles of life. Small group sizes allow for deep relationships, collaboration, and a strong sense of belonging. We run Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays during term time and in the school holidays too. Sessions are facilitated by Mari and Sam, Atelieristas & Forest School Leaders, we work with primary aged children and support independent little ones in the EYFS as well. We are registered childcare so government support can be used with us.
