Monday, 1.30pm. Edexcel IGCSE English Language, Specification A Year 10 (a two year course) aimed at exams in 2028.
Monday, 3pm: Celts, Saxons and Vikings: The History of the Early Medieval World. A 30 week deep dive course for 12-16yrs. Via Dreaming Spires Home Learning.
Tuesdays, 11am: KS3 History Class: For 11-14yrs, covering an eclectic range of topics in an informal setting.
Tuesday, 12.30pm: KS3 Yr9 English. A pre-IGCSE skills class for students who are expecting to start studying their IGCSE courses in the following academic year. Covers Edexcel and Cambridge IGCSE skills at a relaxed pace.
Tuesday, 3pm: The Tudors and the 16th Century, (12-16yrs) 30 week deep dive course exploring 16th century British and European history and the Tudor dynasty. Via Dreaming Spires Home Learning.
Wednesday 11am: Edexcel IGCSE English Language Specification B, a one or two year course aimed at exams in 2027 or 2028.
Wednesday 2pm : Medieval History (12-16yrs) An exciting journey through a wide range of medieval history topics from the 11th – 15th centuries.
Thursday, 11am: KS3 English Skills: For students beginning High School level English, or those who have done little formal English study previously, while tracing the history of the English Language. Roughly equivalent to school Years 7/8.
Thursday, 3pm: Middle-earth Studies History and Literature course, Exploring Tolkien’s world and the history, literature and life experiences he drew from to create it. A 30 week course with Dreaming Spires Home Learning.
