Family Day is the opening event of Birmingham City University’s Inspired Festival, an annual event showcasing the talent and creativity of our arts, design and media students. You’ll be among the first to see this year’s students’ creations, including exhibitions in photography, fashion, jewellery, product design, architecture, art, English and music.
There will be a range of activities for all ages including face painting, textile printing, natural dyes seed planting, collaging, designing your very own comic, and testing your story telling skills in our storyboard workshops.
You’ll have a chance to learn the basics of metal stamping with our jewellery experts, join our architecture team in building a giant play structure, test your balance and flexibility in our children-friendly yoga workshops, play an international trade game, become a news reader or podcaster in our professional TV and radio studios, and so much more!
