At Adventure Through History, our aim in simple. Let’s get children enjoying history. We don’t believe in just being able to recite dates and facts, in fact, quite the opposite, we want our children to be able to think critically and empathetically when learning about other cultures and events of the past. We also believe in teaching chronologically, to help children make sense of the eras of our past, not jumping all over the place like the school curriculum does.
So, our 18 week courses are taught in chronological order, they include a huge variety of topics, and each week consists of a PowerPoint, choice of resources, full guidance and online support if needed, wider learning ideas to extend your learning and many other extras such as certificates, illustrated maps and book covers.
